Happy Valentine's day

What a family of old romantics (no, not skinflints - romantics)!

For Valentine's day we went day camping in the woods. Ignoring the heavy rain, Daddy packed the tent, a little camping stove and lots of waterproofs, Mummy packed J, and we wandered out into the local forest, found a lovely spot by the river and pitched the tent.

As we started to unpack the rain stopped, there may even have been a flash of blue sky! So we didn't use the tent, just sat on rugs while Daddy cooked up salmon & king prawn linguine in champagne sauce and Mummy provided the chocolate dipped strawberries. J gummed on some bread dipped in the pasta sauce.
