Hello everyone! Happy New Year! :-)

Bit of a change of plan, Inverness has been buried under several feet of snow, so we've not made it home yet! We'd hoped to fly back on New Year's Eve, home in time to ring in 2010 a party with the Lugs' but Inverness is hiding under several feet of snow at the moment, so after six hours hanging around at Bristol airport, our flight was cancelled and we were shipped off to a hotel in Bristol for the night.

All credit to Easyjet (and it's not often you can say that!) it was a pretty swanky 4* hotel, with dinner and breakfast thrown in, but still, it wasn't quite the hogmanay we'd hoped for, quietly watching the telly with a bottle of duty free champagne while J slept beside us! J woke up a couple of minutes before midnight so we had a little family Auld Lang Syne which was nice.

We'd been offered a flight for the following day, but we decided to give the weather time to pass over and rebook for Sunday, and so hired a car and headed to Stratford to see some friends, which has been a very welcome bonus! Lucky we didn't fly the next day - that was cancelled too! So we hope to fly back tomorrow. Watch this space...!

We hope you all had a good Christmas and that Santa was good to you. Below are some of our favourite photos from Christmas at Nanny & Grandad's.
