Happy One Month Birthday!

One month old and growing bigger and stronger. Up from 7lb14oz at birth to a very respectable 10lb10oz, so all Mummy's hard work is paying off! Does mean he's busting out of his newborn clothes, awww...

Unfortunately his hairline has had a not so healthy looking decrease, leaving him with a hairstyle like his grandpa!

He's really a very good baby, contented and happy most of the time, and a little more awake each day. He loves staring out the window, although isn' really interacting with any toys yet. He's happy to meet new people, so long as he's fed and changed! Daddy's certain that he's smiling. Mummy thinks it's cute but isn't convinced, still waiting for a genuine grin!

At night he sleeps very soundly, waking once, maybe twice to feed, then after a good burp he'll fall straight back to sleep. He's very noisy at night though, snuffling, wheezing, grunting and groaning till he's purple in the face - I think he's trying to poo - all while staying sound asleep!

He's started to find his thumb, we've caught him chewing on it a few times. We tried him on a dummy a few times, but he wasn't that interested. Difficult to know what to do, for the best really. He's still in his moses basket, but we'll shortly move him into his cot next to our bed.
