Saturday with the Scots!

So I arrived in Edinburgh last night after getting very clear instructions from Vanessa what bus to catch and where to get off to meet her! Naturally it wasnt this simple and I stayed on the bus waiting for my stop to be announced until the lights went off and everyone got off the bus...at the final stop! luckily Edinburgh isnt that big and Vanessa had to come and rescue me! racing all over the city in the freezing colod after she had just done a massive gym class and was exhausted! haha she couldnt have expected anything less from me! so we headed back to her flat which is right in the cetre of the city - such a perfect location and she had L&P and a pinky bar waiting for me! aww a piece of home! It was so good to see her - it had been 12 years!!!! Crazy!

So we woke up and V had to take an attack and pump class at the gym, so I tagged along but screwed if I was doin those painful classes! So I just hopped on a bike and then did some crazy power plate exercises - very weird but good, grabbed a caramel machiatto and chilled on the couches and waited for her! then we grabbed some bakery lunch, headed home, showered and started our day! I was so stoked cos Edinburgh is known for crap weather and while it was cold it was an amazing clear day! So we hopped on a sightseeing bus like real live tourists! hehe :) And had an audio tour and everything! The whole 9 yards! Edinburgh in an hour! Was pretty cool. All the old buildings are amazing!

We the headed home via a vodka cocktail bar where the choices were endless!! It was impossible to choose but we both eventually chose complete winners! Gopt back, had a wine, got dolled up and headed out to dinner at pizza express with 2 of V's friends Maria and Connie - both of who were lovely! It was soooo yum and we were all so stuffed!They then wanted to take me to this dirty old little pub for the apparantley amazing toilets! Neither me or maria had been before so V and Connie were standing watching us videoing and taking pics! it was a bookcase that you had to navigate to find out where the toilets were but it was kinda ruined cos guys were coming out of the door. So Maria lead the way and went inside - the mens toilet!! past all the guys at urinals confident that this is what was weird about the toilets - thatw e had to share! I realised and tried to stop her meanwhile all the guys in the toilets were pissin themselves laughing - literally! :P But she did not care! She locked herself in a cubicle and took no notice! Really the cool thing was jsut the bookcase so after that experience inside the toilets were actually pretty disgusting! After that we had a good night having cocktails and a bit of a dance but we didnt see any scottish dancing which I was disappointed about! Guess Ill have to go to a wedding!
