Hey everyone, back from another busy day. We went to Edinburgh Castle. What a place. It was very interesting and our guide had been there for 18 years, so he was able to give us a lot of information. One interesting point is that US prisoners of war were held there in the lower confines of the Castle.........today was cold and windy, can't imagine what it was like for prisoners.

Also visited the Holyrood Palace which is where Queen Elizabeth will retire to from Buckingham Palace during the summer. We were able to see the King's bedroom, meeting rooms where the present Queen meets and greets dignitaries. Then we visited the Abbey just outside of the Palace with all kinds of tombstones and great windows. For those that don't know, I like to take pictures of windows, doors and stairwells, so the Abbey was my kind of place.

We ate dinner at the Hard Rock - good ribs. Well, gotta run. Will probably not be on until Friday when we are in Ireland.
