Got out of the north just in time, they got snowed in in Ashbourne two days after we left, bet it looked pretty though.

We went to a lovely site right on top of the South Downs, great countryside and views, although very windy – we did have to move the van to stop it being blown over.

Christmas was a bit spread out this year, with people coming and going for about a week, but we did manage to get a Christmas day cache – how sad are we! The traditional boxing day barbecue was held in mum’s front garden (New Forest last year) due to the inclement weather, and the french cricket on hard standing at a local park – but we had a lot more players this year so hopefully this will now become a regular extended family event.

Planning time again – maybe earn some money?
