Hello everyone.

I've gotten a little behind on the updates but in my defense the last few days have been pretty full. We went to Windsor Castle on Monday. It was impressive but I have to say that a little bit of castle goes a really long way. Nonetheless, no one does royalty quite like the British.

Yesterday we ventured into London for the first time. It was amazing/breathtaking/overwhelming all at the same time. We started out by riding the London Eye which is what most of my photos are from. After that my camera and I began an epic struggle to set the time and date properly. Obviously, the camera won and I don't have photos for the rest of the day because apparently the time and date MUST be set in order to operate the PowerShot. Luckily, John took approximately 5,000 photos so our trip was well documented... I just don't have them on my computer yet.

After dinner we accidentally stumbled on the world premiere of the new Harry Potter movie complete with red carpet and paparazzi. We didn't actually see any of the stars but it was still pretty cool.

I'll post another update later this evening with some of John's photos so you can get a better sense of our London trip but for now enjoy the photos of Windsor Castle.

So we brought Julia along to show us around but as it turns out she's actually pretty bad with directions. We're glad she was there anyhow.

Like a pendulum do.
Dear Allie, Thank you so much for taking the time to share the photos. We are loving it!! Riding the "Eye" must be incredible! We are so glad that you are seeing the sights and enjoying London. It is a delightful city, and I am sure that it's charms are not lost on you. Have a grand time! We have been having fun here, too. I had a little come-meet-my-significant-mother party and Nana partied on. Whoo hoo!! Betty is having fun with Stovepipe and Gadget, though Stovepipe is having some boundary issues. Good thing she responds to crate therapy so well. Nana has amazed me with her tolerance for the trip. She gets plenty of rest, and that is truly the key. We manage to have good fun in the waking moments. The "Harry Potter" encounter sounds way cool. We are sooo excited to see the new movie! Most of what we see on the TV these days involves Michael Jackson. He deserves a decent tribute, but the American press has gone overboard once again. It seems we haven't had decent reporting since the press glut on O.J. Simpson. Well, "Tally-ho!" Love, Boo

Over documenting?
Tell John there's no such thing as over-documenting. You'll be grateful in your dotage.

Over-Documenting
I, for one, am enjoying your over-documenting. So there!
