The first few days of our trip were spent at Jo's Aunt Suzane's house, in the country part of Buxted England. She is an excellent cook, and spoiled us. We spent a lot of the time relaxing and recovering from our jet-lag. it didnt take long and we had a lot of fun on walks exploring the English countryside, we visited Tunbridge-Wells,a quaint little town with a noteworthy shopping centre. today we took the train from Hayword's heath to Andover, costinng us £25.90 for our ticket and the train ride lasted about an hour if that. That's about $50 for all you Canadians reading this..way too expensive that's for sure...should have been sat first class for that price. We also went for lunch with Jo's Aunt Val and Uncle David at a traditional English pub where we had a Pear Crumble for our dessert...much like Apple Crisp but with pears and no oats...so not really...

Today we arrived in Andover as previously mentioned with the expensive train ticket and already have gone to Stonehenge...where we saw the sheep and the rocks sat on hill...it was actually a lot of fun with lots of pictures to show for it. Then we went for a walk downtown and went to a pub called the Redbridge where Jo used to work...only to find that NO one who used to work there still does but we made a friend called Pete, a barmen..he's going to Canada next week for a month...asked us about the drink and the girls over there...so any single Torontonians watch out...he's got a dangerous British accent...oooh.

Tonight wer're gracing the town with our prescence so we will definately have a story or two to write about tomorrow or in a few days

Hope everyone is well,

Sarah and Jo

bragging
Hello you two I sure hope you told Jo's Auntie Pat about my dad (the ladies man) who "set fire" to 10 Downing Street...in a manner of speaking!!! He really was very handsome...Sarah can tell ya 'cause she has seen pictures. Wish I could be there (and be 25 years younger too). Don't miss a thing if you can help it...and speak loads of German so you have no regrets. Love Mum
