On a late fall day, that hardly looked like a late fall day, I went over to the Penines to hike a popular trail called the Dragon's Back. From the photos it is quite obvious where the name comes from. The hills were not very high, but the views from the top were very impressive. Several times I fell in sheep droppings. Not very impressive.

This strange little column is actually built just shy of a steep dropoff. So naturally, why not climb it?
