The drive fromn Liverpool to Warwick went without a hitch, once again the GPS has been invaluable. We spent the day (5 Hrs and could have spent more time) at Warwick Castle. What a great tourist spot. Heaps of history to soak up there. Loved the way the people dressed up in costume and role played people of that era. Hannah took the chance to dress up as a Princess at Princess Tower, Robert really enjoyed the Dungeon Tour - gorey, very dark, realistic, informative - not for the whimpish thats for sure (Hannah and Marion didn't go). Marion enjoyed looking at the different rooms and decor inside the castle. We all went up and down the 530 steps that took us over the ramparts and towers, Hannah and Marion had sore legs the next day. We all scored this 10 out of 10.

Drove through to Farnborough and stayed the nite there. The next morning (today) we belive it or not found a very small town called HAWLEY. We couldn't resist taking a few pictures of the signs there. Then drove to Heathrow Airport to drop off the rental - no problems LOL. We were picked up by a private car (mercedes) which took us to The Hilton in London where we are staying tonite. Took the opportunity to do a quick shopping escapade (3 Hrs) at Westfield - largest Westfield (PN Plaza eat your heart out) in Europe. WOW 3 Hrs was not enough, we intend to come back when we are back in London.

Hannah has found a shop called Build-A-Bear. You choose a teddy bear and get it filled in the shop and you can buy all sorts of clothing and accesssories for them. She has chosen a bear and named it Ashley-Rose, its our new addition to the family, she loves it. Hannah will be looking out for these shops everywhere we go now.

Off to bed now as we have to get up at 4.50am to catch the tour bus at 6.10am to start our next chapter of our travels, the Europe Tour.

Oh by the way can you spot the change in Robert????

Blog again when we can.
