I braved the cold this afternoon and walked into the town of Redhill. Ten minutes later with a frozen nose and lips I was in the shopping centre, where it is nice and warm. I needed/wanted some shoes, so I browsed the shoe shops. I ended up getting a pair of suede-like boots, as I paid for them the sales assistants warned me that she doesn't recommend them to be worn outside - well what good are they then! I still bought them from the department store called Marks and Spencer. I also saw some clothes here that I like, so I will have to return. I enjoyed shopping today, as I haven't been shopping for months due to saving money for this overseas adventure.
