Tuesday August 20,2013 Ipswich

I awoke to a beautiful morning at PFH. I had breakfast, showered and then got the 9:52 am train up to London. Yeah! I arrived at Liverpool Street Station around 11:20 am. I embarked on different kind of journey via the "Tube"/Subway. I usually do something historical and or blend in with the other tourists but I wanted to do something completely different all together. I thought of some area of London that I have never been to and It is definitely well known.....indeed. I chose : Notting Hill and especially one of the longest roads in London: Portabella Road. Wow! Awesome! I really enjoyed walking down Portabella and then after lunch ....eventually walking back up the road. Market, stalls, shops, restaurants and quirky other places were lined up on either side. Wonderful! I bought a few little trinkets on my way back and spent most of the day there. Then I headed towards Victoria Train Station to get another train to Clapham Junction. I was visiting for one night ..... a family member and I had never been there as well. Off on a different adventure.....I guess. I did get a little lost but with some help an dbetter directions....I finally knocked on my relative's door. I had a wonderful and fun time catching up with family. Goodnight.....Folks! 😊
