There's not a lot to write about Christmas! Great time with family, despite fighting off another cold! Decided to break out a bottle of champagne over Christmas to celebrate... the fireplace decided to go mad about the same time - and it took a while to discover the smoky log in the wood basket... just great! Healthy Boxing Day too...

In December 2006 I left my job as 'Interdisciplinary Research Officer' at the University of Manchester. Before setting out on my RTW trip, I carried out a vast amount odf de-cluttering and de-junking, completed (reading) a number of careers books, produced web sites and a chapter for a high-profile book for London Transport Museum, plus generated some ideas for further articles.
