York's Minster
The Minster visible from distance I travelled to York in March 2008 in tourist purpose. I have seen there The Mister - inside and dungeons with excavation, ground floor with altar - the excavation reveals settlements and foudation from Roman Empire times to later medieval and finally I went to top to admire the York's skyline - I had to overcome a big number of narrow stairs. Minster is really huge and will stay there long time. Afterwards I walked a bit along old town streets and I bought some items. Highly recommended to visit - York is one of rare places in England whose haven't turned to shops and it still remains original architecture. One of the most remarcable location is The Shambles - this is remained original medieval street with characteristic floor and craftsmen houses. York has city walls but you might get overthere only before dusk, after entrance is banned. Eventually I walked towards Clifford's Tower - York Castle, just to see it.
