Day 26 Reykjavik (Kevjavik Airport) to Caldy via Manchester Airport

Thank goodness for Robert Elliott and Mary Elliott is all I can say. A very early start (4am) to the hectic few hours. More than hour on the bus to the airport and then the huge throng of fellow travellers to wind our way through to then find that our gate was the furthest to be reached all so we could be rewarded with a standing position in queue for our boarding. The ever reliable and very calm Rob was th...ere to meet and warmly greet us at Manchester. What I lke about Rob is that he is not a fuddy duddy driver pottering along at 80kph on the motorway. It was Daniel Ricciardo all the way and with me letting the team down badly by being sick we reached the welcoming arms of Mary in no time. A relaxed and filling lunch was enjoyed by all before I dismissed myself and hit the sack for a few hours. I think all were thankful that the sniffling, cough spluttering being had left their midst as they went to relax in the full English sunshine. We take the credit again.
