Close to home

We awoke early and had a light breakfast. Andre had to work this day, so we would just stay in Basingstoke and explore with Nikki and her mother. We went down to Festival Place mall and walked around for a few hours. We had a great lunch at Wagamama. I had the chicken katsu curry and it was very tasty! At about 4pm, we went to pick up the daughters from school and headed home. Andre got home at about 6pm and we went out to the Portsmouth Arms for dinner at 7pm. Since I knew that a Travelbuddy Edit http://www.travbuddy.com/Echo_Glived close by, I invited her out to eat with us. We had met Edit on our last trip to the UK and just loved her! We had a great meal and conversation. Nikki and Edit got along well since they had a lot in common and also are both NHS nurses.

After our nice meal, we headed back home and Edit went on her way too.

At home, Andre and I had a few beers, while we all chatted for a couple of hours.
