Little green men?,satellites or shooting stars who knows? So one of my fellow bloggers raised an import question, yes its great planning and getting excited about the planning, but were do you draw the line at planning?
The are parts of my tour that have been bolted on after reading about someone else's impressions and views of somewhere i may have not considered or discounted early on in my thoughts/daydreams.The are places i feel/felt i have to include to tick off my to do list, so i have been there and maybe a bit of i have been there syndrome..................lol
Other places i added and now im glad i have added them. one of my trips before this jaunt, was to Russia last year and i discovered after booking the trip, that in the hardline days when you could barter with Levis in Russia, that my uncle had visited and it touches my heart, as my uncle was called Mike aswell and also a few years back my uncle died of a brain tumor.
Also aswell as my uncles travels, my granddad was a town planer and traveled many places including Central and South America and parts of Asia and the middle east and unfortunately my

died of Parkinson's two years before my uncle. Therefore i feel it will be amazing to visit these places my family have been to to.
Then the is Machu Picchu which i have always wanted to go to and my mum always wanted to go to, my mum doesn't think she will have the chance to go to Machu Picchu, so im fulfilling my dreams and with my account of it and photos hopefully get my Mum that bit closer.
So maybe so far i have planned a fair bit, but i feel i can just go as easily with the flow, the are just somethings i think you must see and do with your going on a big adventure like this. Im always open to advice and when i was in Thailand i considered going to Phuket but after being advised what a dive and what a rip off it was, i changed my plans and i can quite easily go with the flow.
Afterall i still haven't decided how long im spending in Oz and i have rough ideas of timescales for Asia but its open to change and some of the planning is down to the limited time of my RTW( round the world)ticket.
Hopefully it wont seem too planned and the will be spontaneity along the way, as i hope i will meet new people along the way and discover new and wondrous things and things of the beaten track.
I have been chilling out at my Mum an Dads for a few days and it's great to get away from work, a lot more of that to come.......lol,while i have been at my mum and dad's, me my mum and some neighbors spotted what we could only describe as UFO's(unless we find out different.
Just before midnight we spotted about 10 orange lights, the was no noise and they hovered rather than straight flight like a plane, my mums neighbors saw them earlier and saw about 40, they looked close to the tree line.My sister thinks they were satellites, howevr i though they would be higher in the sky for that, but hey who knows................just one of the many mysteries and wonders of living on this planet. i took photos but they did not come out so well.
On the Ebay front, i have sold more stuff, which is handy as it will pay for my lonely planet guides and also i had a splurge in TKMakks yesterday.......i wasn't planning to buy anything yesterday as i need to save for my trip.
But well i bought some combat trousers, a fleece and some other bits and pieces for my trip, so was not all bad as it is stuff i need, i think next weekend will be my last lot of listings and i need to keep a tight reign on my spending so i have my magic total at the end of December.
On the subject of planning ahead, some hostels in the US require a reservation and do not accept walk ins and so it is whether i book in the UK before i leave or just hope they don't get too booked up and book online as i leave each city, i suppose if the hostel i want is booked i can always find another, maybe i will book as when in the states and be a bit more spontaneous...........lol 😊
Im getting my Mum and Dad more use to using the internet and they even can now have a webcam chat with my sister who is in Canada. So they may be able to keep up with my emails and blogs while i am away.......fingers crossed😉 lmao
