Hill Fort
This is exactly what Nick expected England to look like.The plan is to leave Manchester Friday 2nd of July 2010 and travel non-stop until we land in Sydney, Australia on December 23rd 2010.
It should be 172 days over 15 countries. We're guestimating it will be over 2 millions steps (each) but we'll take a couple of pedometers and find out for sure!
We're going to see a lot more of Europe (bits we've not seen yet and finishing some of the places we've already been) and finish with a cheeky month in the USA before heading back to Australian summer. We've mapped out our destinations to chase the sun and see a lot of the places in Europe we've not seen.
Our rough Itinerary is:
England (7 days)
Ireland (6 days)
Iceland (10 days)
Denmark & Sweden (5 days)
Russia (12 days)
Germany (4 days)
France (29 days)
Croatia (9 days)
Greece (7 days)
Turkey (10 days)
Italy (18 days)
Spain (21 days)
Morocco (3 days)
USA (27 days)
We'll be keeping our eyes open for memorable photos (like the ones you see in this entry) and enjoying all the different cuisine of the world.
Nick tends to plan more obsessively than Alicia on

Mwahahahaha! the sites we're going to see as we travel so expect to see more photos of tanks and historical sites than of ballerinas and teapots!
Leaving the flat, preparing everything, and wrapping up all our affairs is super stressful, 5 more days of work to go for Nick, I can't wait until it's over and the trip begins......
