We're off. First stop Manchester and Qatar Airways. The 45min delay had us sweating a little as our connection from Doha to Hong Kong was scheduled just 1hr 10mins after we were meant to arrive. In fact, the delay worked out fine - we spent minimal time waiting at Doha. The actual flights were pretty uneventful, apart perhaps for a slightly worrying landing through the sand storm engulfing Doha! So on to Hong Kong for a few days settling into the climate and a spot of sight seeing....
