Woke up quite early this morning, considering it was a weekend and feeling good. Out my window the sky was beautiful- blue and sunny, but unlikely to be warm. I was feeling very relaxed, it is the start of half term break, so no work for a week!! AJ and I decided to head out of Walthamstow and into town. We caught the tube to London Bridge and walked through 'foodie heaven'- Borough Market. Here there is so much yummy food! All of it looks and smells great. We had a steak and mushroom bap and then went around tasting lots of food.
We then walked along the River Thames, taking in all the sights and watching the many street performers. We came to the Tate Modern. I remembered recently reading an article about some piece of 'art' at this gallery. So, we went in to search for it. Wasn't hard to find, the piece of art was a big crack in the floor. An artist has got some tools and made a big crack (167m long) in the floor from one end of the hall to the other. Well at least we did have to pay to see

it. We viewed it from the 1st floor and then went down and walked along the crack. Interesting.

We continued walking along the river until we came to Westminster Bridge and then we caught the tube to Kensington High Street for some late night Saturday shopping.
