Arrived in London

We have arrived in London! It was a fairly uneventful flight, a bit of turbulence but I managed to sleep most of the way through the flight. We got in a bit earlier than expected to London Heathrow but we had to wait in line to get through passport control for over an hour and a half so we didn't leave the airport until 3pm (local time).

We managed to find our hotel, although it took a bit of walking! The map we had cut off the streets that we wanted so we finally found a travel lodge and got a map from them. Our room is, as most are in London, quite small. We went out for a nice dinner at a nearby restaurant, Thyme. After a quick stop at Tesco's for some water we headed back to the room to get some sleep before really starting our London trip.
