My room
My dorm room here in London! Well, all I can say is: London is HOT!!!! The highs the past two days have been in the mid-eighties and the whole group is dripping. The flight and travel was long, but smooth. Once we arrived at Gatwick airport we were met by a mini-van and a bus/tour bus that held 16 people. Our luggage was packed in to the mini-van with amazing speed and precision, to the point where you couldn't see out the back window. It took about an hour and a half to get from the airport to the Arcade where we are staying. The flats are long and narrow and the rooms are small, but comfortable except...no air-conditioning. we all live with our windows and doors open. I plan on buying a fan here, but I don't know what i'll do with it when we leave. Sunday was long and included a walking tour of Islington, the area I'm staying in. Father LaRocca from Xavier is here as a guest priest that he does every summer, so he showed us around. It was long hot and miserable. But pretty too. Classes start tomorrow at 10 and soon i'll learn my way around the area. We aren't
Walking tour
This is the canal that LaRocca took us to. It would've been pretty had I not been miserable in the tourist section of London (Big Ben area) but we are in the city so it's fairly easy to get around. Everybody feel free to email me or post responses here!!!

How exciting!
I'm so excited for you! You should try to get to Camden Market, which is just west of you-- very cool. Good ethnic food stalls too.
