We took pictures in front of this antique mirror ...this image is so creepy and painterly...
The weather wasn't great, the tube was suspended due to scheduled upgrades, but we really wanted to go to the V&A. We finally made it after over 1 1/2 hours of going around in re-routed buses (normally it would take about 15 minutes for us to get there). The museum has 7 miles of galleries, so we had to decide what to see in our limited time. We opted for the British galleries, the Sculpture gallery, Asian Galleries, just because they were sort of a nice progression within the building. I was snapping away being the total tourist when the batteries on my little camera were depleted. I went to the museum shop and to my surprise, they didn't sell batteries...oh well, we are going to have to go back for more...
