After the curry it didn't take us long to get to the pub. This one was "The Fox".
Cathy and Jeremy were so nice to put me up in their spare room, arranging a key pickup from the neighbour while they were away. As soon as they were home, we were off to the next door curry house faster than you can say poppadom. I had forgotten how good it was. We ordered lots so Jeremy and I could have leftovers the next day.

After that, where else but the pub! I reintroduced them to an often overlooked boozer by the name of "The Fox". Ahh, the overfilled pints that spill on your hands and the floor when someone nudges you. Good to be back in the UK with good mates.

The next night I was happy to have the chance to see an old Canadian that I wanted hear live for some time. Neil Young played 2 sets at the Apollo, one acoustic and one electric. I was absolutely mesmerized by the solo acoustic set and was one of my most enjoyed performances ever. The rock set didn't do it for me however; Jeremy coined it by saying there was too much "guitar wanking" near the end.

Another day, while Jeremy was off watching Wales

We ended up with far too many goodies again as one does.
win another 6 nations rugby game, Cathy and I navigated the twisty streets of east London to visit the London Dive Show. It was fun to meet up with the old club members of London School of Diving. Cathy even signed up them for the Rescue Course which they've been meaning to do for awhile. I thought the long time delay was because they wanted me to teach them... but maybe they think I would be too mean?

Following the LDS, Cathy and I made a beeline for the south coast where friends Kate and Marcus were expecting us for dinner. We had another delicious curry there and then a musical evening upstairs with singing, guitars, drums, piano, harmonicas and even some flute! John Denver rules! After a lovely breakfast (if I may say so myself), Jeremy was dropping me at Heathrow in the afternoon...
