India 2009 - The planning stages

At least two years in the planning stage. The original idea was actually set in 1999 - when over 20 close friends agreed to celebrate our 30th birthday year in style. A weekend in Cork, Ireland was organised and a good time had by all. So good, in fact, that all of us vowed to continue this tradition of celebrating the bigger birthdays every five years.

10 years on - with all the pressures of modern life. Relationships, jobs, children etc - there are just 4 of us heading off to India.

Well travelled. Visted India once before in 1995/96. Last big trip was 2005/06. Now married to Emily with two lovely children Edward 2 years 3 mths and Florence just 2 months old.

Backpacked around the world in 1993/94. Loved Asia and Australia, fruit picked in Australia. Beach life in Sydney. Will miss Melanie, Zachary and Esme.

Famous - as featured on Locaton, Location, Location. Very well travelled. Previously visited India. Favourite continents South America and Africa. Climbed Mt Kilimanjaro with Mike in 2002. Lives with wife, Tina, in Kent - as featured on Location, Location, Location!

Infamous as much for his "Easy on a Sunday" - request show as crashing the hire car into the Golden Gate bridge - San Francisco. More suitcase than backpack it'slucky Dave does not need a hairdryer.
