Homeless

Well after becoming jobless a week ago we are now finally homeless as well!.. This is where the adventure starts. It has been one of the weirdest things I've done give up a predictable routine for a completely un-predictable one. We are now at the mercy of the good will of others. Thankfully my in-laws Mick and Dena are the first (hopefully) of many to be imposed upon :-). We are in north london for two weeks now before heading off to Roscoff. We are booked on the 15:00 ferry out of Plymouth on May 31st. We are then spending two weeks in Brest with Mick and Dena on their annual holiday. Then the plan is to try to catch my cousin Pete who lives in Vannes which is further down the Morbihan département of France. After spending a little time there we are planning on heading for the Pyrenees to do some biking. After cruising around the Pyrenees for a while the plan is then to head off down the east coast of spain, through Barcelona and Valencia. Then cross country through Grenada and Seville to Portugal, where we intend to hole up in a little town called Ericeira and a beach called Ribeira d'Ilhas Beach, which routinely hosts a round of the World Surf Championships and is regarded as one of the best surf beaches in Europe. There Debbie is going to be put in surf school whilst I try to find some people to ride with. The loop will be completed late August by returning through the Basque region visiting St Sebastian, driving back through Vannes and returning to England. After which another adventure sailing in Greece! But I'll let you know more of that later. Anyway if you have any ideas or think we are missing things on this route let us know!.. Hopefully Betty will show her pedigree and pull us though it without complaint, but if she doesn't well that's part of the adventure. Catch you later Sam & Debs
