What a day!!!
We started out our first full day in London with one of the double decker bus tours. There was tons of traffic today as there was stuff going on with parliment. But we made our way slowly over towards the London Bridge, Tower Bridge, London Tower, Big Ben, The Eye over to Hyde Park and back to our start. That's a quick version on it as that wasn't the most memorable parts of our day!!. So we headed for lunch at Noodle Noodle and I was very suprised at the size of a Noodle Noodle bowl. After finishing that off we set off for Buckingham Palace, just in time to see the changing of the guard. After that we headed to Big Ben for the 5 pm chime. We stood there for a bit looking at it and the Eye of London then headed to our evening entertainment. SPAMALOT! On our was to the theatre we hear sreams and music. Big lights and cameras. What could this be we asked each other. Could it be the London premiere of the movie "Twilight"? It could. With young girls screaming at no one and finally being able to see the 2 main people from the movie we decided to head to our show. First a stop to pick up our 5th row tickets and of course some coconuts. They had instructions on which coconut goes in which hand. One for the left and one for the right. They also made sure we were hitting them in the right place. We headed in and the theatre was a sight. Big pillars and old style bar that you could drink at before the show. Meg grabbed some wine and we headed to our seats. I am so glad I was able to see a show like this in a place like this. With about 20 different songs and 2+ hrs later we had the biggest smiles on our faces. I was glad that we were able to appreciate going to see Spamalot in London. So to everyone
We're knights of the round table
We dance when e're we're able
We do routines and chorus scenes
With footwork impecc-able
We dine well here in Camelot
We eat ham and jam and spam alot
We're knights of the round talbe
Our shows are for-mid-able
But many times, we're given rythmes
That are quite unsing-able
We're opera mad in Camelot
We sing from the diaphragm a lot
and
Always look on the bright side of life...
Always look on the light side of life...
(From a couple songs from the show)

Oh, how lucky you are, the two of you there, if you won't eat pork, why is Spamalot on your fork?? Hope there are many, many more round tables in your future!! Love MOM--the Sault Sue one.
I am looking forward(?) to an evening of spamalot duets to counterbalance all the Christmas carols over the Holiday season.

Well we ourselves just got back to Montreal from California. We were last in London a few yrs ago & aways find something interesting to do there. If you get to Lochgelly,Scotland try to visit the museum & see if they have any record of the "Muldoon Twisters" band. Chris' gr grandpa John Malloy & bro Patrick were members circa 1910.
