hola from the gang in CUBA. Well we're here in Cuba drinking free drinks of all sorts, soking in the sun and making bus trips to la Habana. However it was a Meg and Chris way to get here. I'll start with our trip from North Bay to Barrie to Toronto to Cuba all in the same night/morning. So Meg and I got a late start out of North Bay and ended up leaving at around 11 pm to try and get to Barrie in time to catch the van service from Jacobs house to Pearson. Hey everyone.. I hope everyone had a great Christmas and New Year. It's that time again, Meg and I are off on another adventure. This time to the island of CUBA. So we will update with pictures and adventures just like always. I hope that you guys get involved with comments like usual. Now I bet you're all wondering how we came up with this decision? Well we were in Barrie this past weekend for a birthday party for Barb and just before leaving we went to Jacob and Barbs house to have some pizza. greetings from the scottish land! we are less than a fortnight from christmas and our trip back over the pond is quickly approaching. I've gotta tell you, travelling is exhausting! Chris and I grabbed a hotel down the street from my sistah's rez, and so we have become quite content spending the evenings in our room, order a movie, read, cards...quite luxurious actually. yesterday we went to the 'Edinburgh Dungeon', which almost scared me to the scottish loo! last Tuesday chris rented a car and I attempted to be backwards and drive it. the three of us were on our way to Lochgelly (where chris' grandma Malloy was born) and then to Fort Agustus near Loc Ness. good day friends and family! we are safe in edinburgh, sleeping on my sister's floor-chris and i attempting to share a single bed matress. our backs and necks hurt, but it is free and i can hug and kiss my sistah every moment of the day! i could not be happier! yesterday was our first full day here in the land of scot, and chris and I began a serious holidaying sleeping regiment. since we are going to be travelling in the scottish land and ireland for nearly 2 weeks, we are taking a couple days to sleep, be lazy, eat food, watch a movie, and go to chris' and my favourite new place "pie maker". my sistah has introduced a beautiful shop where all things are single pies. i had an apple and blackcurrant. mmm ... read more

What a day!!! We started out our first full day in London with one of the double decker bus tours. There was tons of traffic today as there was stuff going on with parliment. But we made our way slowly over towards the London Bridge, Tower Bridge, London Tower, Big Ben, The Eye over to Hyde Park and back to our start. That's a quick version on it as that wasn't the most memorable parts of our day!!. So we headed for lunch at Noodle Noodle and I was very suprised at the size of a Noodle Noodle bowl. bonjour! so eventhough our blog says london (which we arrived in today) this blog is about our parisian travels. so yesterday my sistah, chris and I took the metro out to Versailles to visit with Marie Antoinette. However, when we got there there was a severe lack of tourists hogging our photo opts, which unfortunately ended up being because it is closed on Mondays :( quite sad it was that we couldn't go into the famous palace, but make the best of it we did! Domain de Marie Antoinette's little home that was on the grounds was open so we started on our trek there. we were able to wander the gardens and so got tons of really cool pictures. i grabbed my sister's arm and pretended we were Marie's "ladies in waiting" strolling the gardens ... read more
