This is just a very quick entry to let you all know we are ok.

For those of you who haven't heard, a mini tornado destroyed homes and left 6 people injured when it hit North London yesterday (7/12/06).

Up to 150 houses were hit by winds reaching 130mph, although the strom lasted only 1 minute.

Just after 11am, unsuspecting residents and passers-by were plunged into darkness so thick they thought they were trapped in smoke from a gas blast or fire. Seconds later, the darkness lifted to reveal the damage in which was caused by the freak weather.

WE ARE OKAY. this had occurred on the opposite side to which we live and work.

Miss you all,
Brian & Lauran XXX

Glad to hear all is well. We hadn't heard anything about the tornado until Tania told us. Have you had any news of the bushfires over here? We had a terrible weekend, with temperatures near 40 and smoke like fog, at times. Today is a lot better, thank goodness. Lots of love, Mum. XXXXXXXXX
