The Beginning... A Very Good Place To Start!

Before anything else, me and Meeka sat down and wrote a list... We realised that packing up and jetting off around the world wouldn't just be an over night thing. Research is mandatory!

Here is the list we want to cover before the dreaded day that we tell our family, friends & employers that we are disappearing. We think we have covered everything here so feel free to copy for your own use.

In order of importance:

1. Where Are We Going? Research the countries that we plan to visit and plan a route.

2. Do We Need Visa's? Find out about visa's and if we will be needing them. If so, acquire them.

3. How Are We Getting There? Search for flights. Find the best times and prices to suit us. (Obviously the cheapest!)

4. Travel Insurance. Research what type will best suit our plans and acquire it.

5. Do We Need Jabs? No one likes injections but I'm guessing we wont get far without them.

6. Keeping Our Money Safe! Look into setting up bank accounts in countries we plan to visit & research 'Cash Cards'.



This is just a brief outline of what we need to research but will keep updating our blog with useful information as we find it. Feedback would also be appreciated if we have missed out any important things.
