Sunset at the Folly.....an annual weakness of mine! Not a whole lot to report, am still testing out my camera that I've had for a year (HA!) to get the best pictures.
Worked all Thursday morning sorting the lambs for today's sale in Ashford which was lovely--the weather was amazing. Clear, cloudless and warm. Felt like any indian summer day in Canada.
Went blackberry picking with Frances before dinner, then went to the Woolpack (my favourite local-ish pub) for a half-pint of Spitfire. The pub's been around since the 15th century, and has the typical warped floor, 5 ft doorways/celings and lots of character. I would spend most of my nights there given the choice, my kinda place!
Went to market thismorning, which was pretty much just standing around watching...nothing too exciting, but interesting nonetheless.
I'm still pretty jet-lagged which is surprising me...or I'm just over-sleeping...either way, am pretty introverted and quiet. I'm itching to get off to Ireland, hoping to be there next week, events allowing.
