The Grand Finale

This is my final blog entry. Thank you to everyone that has read & hopefully enjoyed it.

We arrived at heathrow on the 5th June & was met by Miles mum & uncle - a complete surprise. Very choked to see them.

Our first impression was that we had forgotten how beautiful our country is & how green everything was. We were very excited t be home & see all our family & friends again. Lots of tears & emotions were running high, it was good to be home.

We both went back to work after 2 weeks & it was a real struggle to get motivated to do anything. Depression soon set in & getting back to the 'real' world was alot harder than we both anticipated. Good job we had baby Gander to look forward to, it kept us going.

I had to be induced because of high blood pressure & our son Harrison Brian was born on his due date, the 21st Sept at 21.52pm. Weighed in at 8lb 4oz. He is gorgeous. An absolute miracle.

So thats the end to our 12 months adventure. We had the most amazing time & to end it all with a baby is just amazing. The best year of our lives x
