I am a bit nervous because were going to Gilgil in Kenya and were going to board at Pembroke a school in Gilgil. My dad says I am going to have a lovely time and I think Iwill. I will miss all my friends that go to Buckland Newton. Before we go were going to try to do a camp over at our house with all my friends.
Were going to have some people staying in our house whilst we are away

I am seven years old and live in Buckland Newton, Dorset. I am about to go to Kenya for five months and will be a boarder at Pembroke School which is just outside the small African town of Gilgil in the Rift Valley. My parents will be staying in our house near Gilgil and we will see them every week. I am a bit nervous of boarding, but my daddy promises that I will love it there, and will make lots of new friends and that makes me excited.
