Our last day in Singapore was at least as memorable as any other day of our holiday.
Singapore decided to treat us to a heatwave, with solid sunshine instead of the more usual sun, cloud and occasional shower. (Who needs a heatwave in Singapore when its pretty hot under normal conditions!)

Someone needs a punkawallah we queued up as if we'd just been visiting a relative at the hospital.
Finally, a shower and two pints of beer at the hotel (happy hour, of course) rendered me fit to travel back to UK. Mary had a generously-sized speciality coffee and water after her shower.
