Hey, everybody,
Today is our 49th wedding anniversary. What a great place
to enjoy it! We got a late start but got on the train about
noon. Normally we get off at Brig, Switz. but today we stayed on until Visp. Got off and said "now what"
OK there's a big yellow postal bus heading to Saas Fee
about 30 mi away. All uphill. We got the front seat on the
right, and the road ahead was major curves and narrow.
It would have been hard enough in a car no less a bus.
These drivers are fantastic and fearless. Wouldn't you know, we didn't bring the video cam!! aarghh!
We spent 2 hours browsing around, taking pictures,
Gloria eating ice cream cones, yes one at a time!
Then, Back on the bus-Gus for another thrilling journey
down the mountain to Visp. and a train ride back to the
chalet.
Gloria here - 'Couldn't find Lowell anywhere'.
I was a photo widow today - What chuckles & fun on
the bus as Lowell shot everything out the window, I
thought not a one would turn out.
God's favor has been ours every day and we
do not allow it to
go un-noticed and we thank HIM.
