Sunday, August 10th - We started the day as usual with everyone meeting in the hotel parking lot. While standing there, a group of bikers rode in on their Harleys and when they saw us milling about one of them returned to his bike to lock his saddle bags. Tom Marrin commented to him that he noticed the rider locked the bike when it was evident there were Americans standing around. It turned out the bikers were very friendly and on a cruise from Geneva. They let Carolyn and Hilda pose for pictures on their bikes.

The group split into two with one group driving the vans to the Swiss Open-Air Museum in Ballenberg and the other group visiting Schloss Spiez (Castle Spiez) just across Lake Thun. The Spiez group split into two with Bill, Deb, Carolyn and Hilda riding the train to Kandersteg and the others driving the van to Kandersteg - the train won the race!

Pictures are from our two separate adventures.
