The "old town" in Annecy, France.
Hi all,
Here are some more pictures for you. The first is of Annecy in France, super cute town. The next is of our lunch while watching the Tour de France go by in Le Grand Bornand. The third is of Chamonix, a little town in the Alps at the foot of Mont Blanc where we stayed yesterday.

Today we completed the first part of our hike through Switzerland, crossing the border with France at the top of Col de Baume. It was a long one, but well worth it. We saw beautiful fields of flowers, snow capped mountains, and glaciers.

We are staying in a tiny village called Trient, Switzerland at a hostel(picture included). Its kind of fun since its all hikers from the trail, plus they are feeding us fondue tonight for dinner (more cheese 😊

Thats all for now.
Love,
the Germans

Maintenant? Tehhhhd (and Caroline)
Wow! Several more days of that lousy scenery and pack animal hikes. You two might as well be sherpas. Ever heard of SUITCASES!!! The Tour has just gotten crazier. Rasmussen just blew the pelaton away and got yellow at the mountain top finish. Rest day today. Se Ri Pak won the Jamie Farr again (for the 5th time) she owns Highland Meadows. Her playing partner on the final round shot a hole in one and still couldn't beat her. Went on a 40 mile jaunt with two oldy, roadies the other day. We flew around the Wabash triangle. These guys could book. Signing my book contract today, I hope. The trip looks spectacular so far, don't know how you'll keep dishing up the spectacular-ness but keep it coming. Stay safe and enjoy the heck out of the trip. Love, Daaaad
