Early morning start to catch the train to Zurich, luckily we were only a 5 min walk from the station. A nice relaxing 4 1/2 hour rail trip through Germany, into Austria, then Switzerland arriving Zurich at midday.
Caught the tram out to our hotel to unpack, then back into Zurich to explore the city. Very easy to use their tram network. After strolling along the Limmat River, we windowshopped along Bahnhofstrasser, full of exclusive and expensive shops. Overall, a very expensive place to live.
