Edit Blog Post

Now we are without wheels we have to make do with the route that is available. We have about 6 road maps... but no train ones. So once back at Luxembourg station it became clear we had to go to Zurich!!! It cost 64euros though and turnd out to be a 4hour trip. Really should have bought some food or drink before getting on.

We quickly realised that if we carry on like this we'd travel at day and sleep at night. That would make for a boring blog! I'd have to start making things up. So once we arrived in Zurich we booked an overnight train for the next evening to Vienna! Then we got a cab to a campsite, where the routine of it raining everynight continued... so we had to spend the night sitting in one tent drinking beer as everywhere was too wet. Other than that the site is on the west bank of whatever lake is by Zurich and would have been a really picture-esque place. Also when losing the car we lost a tent. So we had 3 people, 2 tents and a LOT of luggage to cram in. I didn't sleep well... again.

But at least we are now heading for a 2 day stay in Vienna.

Mitch.... R.I.P xxx
Pete.... thought you would at least make it over to Eastern Europe before Mitch decided to give up the ghost.... never mind... What an adventure you've got before you now. I said to Nancy... had you of been in Spain you could have bought yourself a donkey from the Donkey Sancturary... that would have been a sight... seeing 3 young English People trekking around the globe on donkeys... Hope you're enjoying the cuisine.... Fran xx
