Yep, dead as a doornail
So, we gave it a new try: Took apart the tank, petcock and carburettor. Cleaned everything and inspected it and, well it alll just looked OK. All very exciting though, never really taken the entire carb and petcock apart before! Reassembled everything and gave it a new shot. Still nothing! The only way to get it to fire is with starting gas-ignition OK.
BUT there is no fuel coming into the carb. Took of the fuel line and..dry as Sahara! I strongly suspect that there is something fishy with the petcock.
Don't have a cutaway or blueprint though so it'll have to wait.
Hmmm...fishy....
