A delightful day driving along the valleys and gorges and over the passes of the almost empty limestone mountainous area of the Serrania de Cuence.

On the way we stopped off at La Ciudad Encantada, a park of karst limestone outcrops, formed by differential erosion of the rock layers into many unusual shaped columns, gullies and natural arches. Many of them take animal and human forms.

We stopped the night just outside the mountain town of Albarracin.
