Our hosts
Our time here in Spain is soon coming to an end! Three more nights then we are heading to Eastern Europe for a few months so going to be quite different to here! We are not going to miss the heat of this place though with everyday about 40deg and stinking hot! The city´s we have visited since the last update, Seville, Granada and Valincia have been fantastic places.
Saville was by far the hottest place and the siesta´s were really getting a work over there! Everyone here in Spain has then between 2 and 6 and the towns become a ghost town except for the tourists still struggling around the place. There happened to be a festival on when in Seville and we went there on a Wednesday so thought that it was going to be early night since we had a bus to catch at 7am the next day but getting home at 3am in the end was a little mistake! But we had a world of fun though! There is plenty of fantastic buildings to go and see there exp the old church which is massive and the architecture of the church and all the other buildings is very impressive as long with the other citys we visited. We went out for tapas (a meal you get when order a beer) here one night and was eating all different types of things that we had know idea what they were, but all very nice. In Madrid it was free the tapas where ever we went but here in the south of Spain it costs which was a little shock when got the bill!
Granada was ext and is a great smaller city and we were mostly just relaxing here and getting over the time we spent in Seville. It is a very tourist town and heaps of awsome bars and places to eat out. A very hilly town and has a massive fort over looking the town as well. We couldn't beleive how clean this place and Seville are! Like all day there is ppl going around cleaning everything and never any rubbish anywhere! I guess it is very touristy so they must do it.
An over night bus to Valincia where we are now was the worst thing ever, impossible to sleep on those things and we were buggered by the time we got here so had an early siesta when we arrived in the morning at our hosts place. This city is right on the Medertranian so very humid here about 90% all day plus the heat is not good! Yesterday was spent sruising aroud the city centre and seeing the sights, there is plenty to see here in Valincia as it is the 3rd biggest city in Spain and thats all we did yesterday. Of course we had a few beers with our host before we went into the city to check out the nightlife which was crazy! People everywher, well it was a Saturday night and chaos! Today was spend on the beach soaking up the sun but we leart from last time in Lagos and was only there for a couple of hours, we are now paying the price from Lagos and the sunburn we received! Pretty much back to white after peeling for the last 3 days or so! We just had a great meal here with our hosts (he used to be a cheif, the guy in the photo at the front) and finished off with schnapps, I had this stuff in Austria but first time Crazy has had some, well it is an alcohol spirit that is 80% and a couple of shots of this stuff after a bottle of wine with our meal sent us well on our way! At 2 in the afternoon! Who caresm we are on holidays!!
Tomorrow we are heading to Barelona for a couple of nights then leaving Spain fot the East..
It is great to hear the boys got over Braknell on the weekend! All coming together at the right end of the season!

We wish to help people to travel the world as it is an amazing place with so much to see and do, travelling is easy once you make the decision to go. The hardest part for most making the decision to book that ticket but that is the beginning for life changing... full info
