Capes!Capes!Capes!

We visited a famous cape store, where capes are made by hand in the back of the shop. They have outfitted Hilary Clinton, Michael Jackson, and numerous Spanish dignitaries. One of us actually bought a cape. Guess which one...
Hello Friends and Family --

We are cajoling Raquel into blogging, but before we do so, we must tell you that we have learned that prostitution is LEGAL here in Spain. Rachel told us this, but we did not believe her until we googled it, and discovered she was right. So, these working girls outside here are not engaged in illegal activities, just doing a day's work, and pay the bills.

Hola-
This trip has been amazing for me. Like Adrienne, this is the first time out of the country for me (not including Mexico, which I'm told doesn't count). It has been everything that I expected and more. My favorite day was in Toledo - it's such a quaint little town with cobblestone, narrow roads and very friendly people. However, the food was not the greatest in Toledo. We had some fabulous tapas and paella in Madrid. Our favorite meal was at a Mexican restaurant, El Chaparrito - best Mexican food I've ever had and great Margaritas. It was more than just a meal- it was an experience. We were serenaded by Omali (solo Mariachi) and Wendy. We made some

friends and hope to stay in touch. We've all had so much fun, we are already planning our trip for next year.
