Rest Time.Rest Time.Rest Time.

Heading toward Ezcaray.
Here in Barcelona we have been busy seeing the sights, sometimes by Hop On Hop Off Bus, sometimes times by train, sometimes by Gondola and a lot of walking. So much to see but of course you can't see it all in the time here. We went to the Basilica de La Sagrada Familia which is huge and some what thought provoking, in the time it has taken to build, the design and the features that have been incorporated. So amazing and we were there for over 3 hours but could easily spend many more hours there. Visited the Olympic stadium from the 1992 games, stood and watched in awe the coloured fountains at the Font Magica de Montjuic and visited the amazing Born Centre Cultural which is a buried town that has been excavated and you can stand and look down into it. These are a few highlights out of many that we saw along with thousands of other tourists. Barcelona has so many tourists, who in themselves are so interesting. great City.

Our last place to stay on the bike trip was a village up in the hills above Santa Domingo deal Calzada. Ezcaray was quite high up

and was a long slog to get up there but a nice village with nice people located in a river valley. We did a few walks and just relaxed apart from a bike trip up the valley along a old track. A nice ride with a bit of work involved.

So, now off to Heathrow were we stay a night then wing our way back home to NZ. Pip/Rod
