Barcelona Sightseeing

Today we got up went to breakfast at the hotel, Mal stayed in the room he wasn't feeling very well, we headed off to the bus stop for the hop on hop off tour of Barcelona, the architecture here is so different even in the different areas just around town, some of it I didn't like some was just weird and some was beautiful, we saw the unfinished church Sagrada Familia it is massive and ugly and beautiful all in one, we got off the bus and wandered around the streets tried to catch the bus to the outlet shopping mall but they only took cash so we had to find a cash machine that had English, missed the bus and the next one is in an hour, we walked to the invention museum it was very cool, Lexie handed in her invention, saw some funny things that people have come up with the ideas and then they make a prototype , I liked the Exercycle that once you had done 400km it gave you a packet of crisps haa haa. We missed the bus again for the outlet shops decided that because it was going to be 7pm before the next one came, and it took 40 min to get there, then the last bus left at 9pm back to the city, they are all top of the line shops so I wouldn't expect them to be that cheap...don't think I'll get a Guess bag for EUR15...We went to a local mall that was just across the road instead and brought a couple of pairs of boots. Stopped at an outdoor eatery on the way home because I couldn't walk anymore, my feet are so sore, home and I crashed while Lexie and Mal played cards
