Desajuno sin Glutine con Pablo y Gala

This morning was the first breakfast of our trip to Spain. Armed with my Bilingual Coeliac card, and up as usual some time before Lou, I negotiated the Breakfast Buffet at our hotel.

A woman in her 60s whose piled-up hairdo made her look like Gala hovered near the frittata - accompanied by her husband whose striking resemblance to Pablo Picasso was somewhat diminished by his GUESS T-shirt. Was it really Pablo? I guess not.

The conversation with the waitress was made much easier with my card. She exited through the swinging doors and returned with a swag of Gluten Free Goodies.

A very good start to the day.. and to the trip.
