Hola from Barcelona!
Greetings from sunny and warm Barcelona. We just saw Sagrada Familia, the church designed by Antoni Gaudi, an amazing and "gaudy" building. Our adventures have entailed non-stop action-packed adventure...thus far we have been to Madrid and Bilbao. Bilboa and Gehry´s Guggenheim were amazing!! (Despite some problematic aspects (and sleep deprivation).) At a later time I shall describe it all in detail with photos. So, I fear, this entry will be far from lackluster.... Tomorrow we leave Spain, onward to France.
Wishing you all a happy 4th!
With love,
Wendy (and Val)

P.S. Congrats to Steffi & Thorsten!! Go Deutschland (Germany)!!
P.P.S. Lawrence, thanks for your recommendations but I was unable to find them.
P.P.P.S. Nicki, we just saw flamenco dancers and musicians...I tried to take many photos for you, but alas, my camera is not nearly as stellar as I´d like it to be. I shall share them upon my return, or perhaps on my next visit 😊 Madeline, I´d imagine you´d like them as well...but I¨m sure you have quite enough to keep up on with your worldy journeys.
P.P.P.S. Brenda, thanks for your Ireland update...I hope you have fully recovered!

Hello from Waukesha
Happy 4th of July to you and Val. Looking forward to hearing more about your adventures in Spain and the rest of your trip. Thanks for taking the time out from your journeys to blog. Everything is fine here - Jade and Sapphire have settled in and are behaving themselves. The worst thing Sapphire did is to try and carry off one of dad's shoes by the lace-he caught her doing it - yelled at her and she dropped the shoe and hasn't tried it since. Jade just wants to be petted and turns on his back so i can rub his tummy. Love from Mom, Dad, Jade and Sapphire

World Cup
Thank you so much for the Baby Card and gift. I can't wait to see your pics. We'll be home watching the World Cup final. I think France will win. We live across from an Italian cafe and next to a plaza with a mini Leaning Tower of Pisa. Fans are getting ready. Flags are out, music is blasting. We'll see what happens tomorrow. Ciao
