Day 5 The final day in Barcelona Well, today was the last day in Barcelona. The flight wasn’t until 8:20 at night so we had to find a way to kill a day.  First, we packed everything but our most valuable things in our suitcases so that we could leave them in the pension (low end hostel run by a family). this fireplace has two seats, one bigger than the other for a couple, and the single chair for their chaperone. :) It is a one of a kind fireplace.

this is the hallway, LOVE the curves. I learned later that this house was supposed to have the feel of waves...no wonder i loved it so much!

The color of the tiles change as you go up to account for the sunlight so that the entire wall looks the same color.
