Monday was still a grey day, but we needed to go out. We decided it would be perfect for the aquarium. I went out in the morning and got what we needed for meals. I do like wandering around the big markets. I'm so glad there is one just at the end of our street. Then we went out strolling in direction aquarium. La Rambla was still full of people, regardless of the dreary weather. The aquarium was fantastic. It's the largest salt water aquarium in the world. There are so many fish large and small that you truly feel you are with them under the sea. I particularly liked the rays. They had one tank that you could look over and then crawl under a tunnel and look under. Rays will come to the surface, ... read more

We went to this mountain which had a hermitage in the side of it. I found it really interesting from the architecture to the religious factor. We were there the whole day hiking, listening to an audio story and seeing a church. We went to the hermitage in the mountain first which had incredible views. Then we hiked down the mountain. When we got to the bottom, we went for lunch. After we had a bite to eat, we went to the monastery and looked for a bit. Then we went to the audio story and saw that at the end. We had a great supper at home. Night night. Snake Wangler.... read more

Hello, We went to park Guell. It took us 2:00 hours to walk. Guell park is where a lot of buildings that were made by a famous architect are. He made interesting buildings. It was a long walk there but it was worth it for the beautiful houses, walls, arch ways and columns. There was a place where it looked like you were in a wave and it was about to hit you. After the park we walked home. On the way we saw a man walking his pig, it was pretty cool. We grabbed a sweet treat and bought the food for supper, had a stir fry, then we went to bed. Good night all. Snake Wangler.... read more

We went to the beach. On are way there, we picked up a great savoury croissant! When we got to the beach mom found a nice place to sit and I went in the water. I ran up and down the sand tried to make a wall strong enough to stop the water from breaking it but it didn't happen. After a while, I was getting tired so we went back home, we stopped for a treat at the bakery and continue home. We didn't do much, sat and read. Later, Mom made supper some really good tacos and then we went to bed. Sweet dreams all. Snake wangler.... read more

Monday the 11 was the first full day in Barcelona. We left the house at 11:00 and walked down the Rambla, with shops and restaurant's on ether side. We stop at an information kiosk for a map, then we asked if we could buy two tickets for the Barcelona game on the Nov 23. She found space but advised not to buy them yet because they can change the date days before. So we might buy them later. Then we walked or tried to walk to the beach but we couldn't find it, sooo we walked a little more then went home bought groceries. At 5:00 we went to the magical fountain but we didn't see the show, because we came too early. We got really hungry so we went home and made supper, then I ... read more

We went to Gaudi's church that's still in construction. It took a while to get there but we made it. The inside is finished but out side is in construction. The front of the building is beautiful, and inside the stained glass is brilliant. It's made so that when the light hits it, it sends colours all over. We were there for about an hour, then we went and saw the museum. I learned about the plans and saw people making plaster models. After that, we walked home. We stopped for paella, which was really good. We got home and went to bed. Goooooood night! Snake Wangler.... read more
