Coca castle Already in Australia we were curious about the Gothic Mudejar castle in Coca. It created a big of a problem because we had to take the long way around between two overnight stays. But we were keen to see it so what is a man to do? Through country roads and gorgious villages there it was. AMZING. In the middle of absolutely nowhere, there was this master piece of Militairry design that is it title. There is a huge moat around it. It was started by Alonso Fonseca in 1453. Made of limestone brick and slate. Trekking through very narrow spiral stair cases with hugh steps {they must have been giants} you arriven at various capels and rooms, displaying tools, arms and furniture. One desk was from thr 17th century. That was certainly worth the extra kilometres. After all these jaw dropping discoveries off for a overnight stay at Zamora. Again a medieval city with the river Duearo running through the city. Funny setup this Hotel, it is in a backwater street. The car was giuded by the owner around the corner in a private garage. The room was neat and clean breakfast included. We had a quick look at the

the entrance enormous walls that ringed the city. At night we found a place to eat. There we had the biggest T-Bone steak we had ever seen. Tasted very nice. After a not so good night we were up at 7 0'clock and found nobody in the whole place. Breakfast room closed. We had to wait till 8 for anybody showed up. To late to have breakfast we decided to skip that and have breakfast later. That became a lot later and consisted of a cream tart and a cup of coffee somewhere of the freeway.
